Prepare, Act, Survive Emergency Information
During severe weather conditions
- The electricity may be disrupted, which will affect the water supply.
- The water will automatically resume once power is restored.
- In the event of a power outage, please ensure all taps are turned off, as the water will start running again when the electricity returns.
Additional supplies for Beech Forest Cottage:
- Buckets of water for the toilet and handwashing are stored under the trough at the main entrance to the cottage.
- Drinking water (a 10L cylinder) is located on the bottom shelf in the last cupboard of the kitchen.
- Additional battery-operated light globes can be found under the trough at the main entrance.
- A camp light is placed on the corner cabinet in the kitchen. It can be pulled apart for use in multiple locations.
Additional supplies for Kookaburra and Cockatoo Cottages:
- A bucket of water for the toilet is stored under the sink in the bathroom.
- Water for the kitchen and handwashing, along with an additional 2L drinking water bottle, can be found on the bottom shelf of the corner cabinet near the bed.
- In the same corner cabinet, you'll find a battery-operated lantern and some light globes in a green bag.
